Think you have what it takes to be a Moderator?
Superheroes Unlimited Server Owners have been asked about players becoming moderators and this page will explain the process. If have any questions please contact a staff memeber.
When you will out an application for staff and if you are accepted you will become a "Trainee" What is a "Trainee?" A Trainee is the staff rank where you will undergo a 1 month trial to become a Jr. Moderator. You will be required to answer any questions players may ask, more responsibilites then the normal player, and will learn how to addressing concerns. Failure to do so will result in a demote.
Requirements:
Age: One of the requirements for applying for Trainee is you need to be at least 14 years old. We set this age requirement hopeing that our staff will be more mature. That doesn't mean if you're yonger you can't be staff, you just have to prove that you are in fact mature enough to handle the role. Also lying about your age is not tolerated. If we find out you lied about your age, you can't apply again until two months later.
Activity: We want staff members that are active. You must have been on the server for at least 48 hours before you apply. To check your in-game-time do /ar check.
No Server Punishments: The Superheroes Unlimited Server is looking for rule-enforcers and not rule-breakers. If you have any kind of server punishment, this WILL affect your application. To prevent any kind of server punishment, please follow the rules that are listed at our server spawn.
Grammar: Grammar is, as you can imagine, a very important part of becoming a staff member. As a Trainee, you will represent our server, so it is important that you appear mature and professional at all times. If you lack any kind of grammer skills, your application will be denied.
Detail: In the appication, we are looking for at least one paragraph per "long answer" question. We would like to know the "whys" and the "hows" of your application. We would like to know your solutions to certain problems and how you, as a staff member, would deal with said issues. Failure to do so will lower your chance in becoming a Trainee.
Maturity: We want our staff to be mature and prevent making racist, religious, or sexual jokes. If we find you doing so, you will be demoted.
Being Ready: We are looking for people who have the ability to answer questions and are knowledgable on the Superheroes Unlimited and Bibliocraft mods. We advise that you study the mods before applying.
Language: Our staff members must be to be able to speak English at a B+ standard, due to the primary language of the Superheroes Unlimited Server being English. Thus, we want our staff to answer questions in proper English. However, if you have the ability to speak other languages such as Spanish, Italian, Russian, etc. as well as English, this will raise your chances of being accepted.
Good Reasoning: When applying, you need to have good reasons for applying. We don't responces such as, "I think I could help the server' or "The server needs me." If we see this kind of reasoning in your application, it will be denied for we will feel your purpose of joining is invalid. We would like strong reasoning with at least one paragraph explaining why you would like to be a staff member on the Superheroes Unlimited Server.
